Climbing and access information for this peak is on Page 325 of the book, where the name is spelled incorrectly. Updated January 2019

Eidelman Peak is located west of the main Beaverhead Crest between Willow Creek to the north and Italian Canyon to the south. It has a broad summit that offers spectacular views of the Lemhi Range to the west. John Platt, Michael Pelton, Steve Grantham and Alex Feldman completed the first reported Winter ascent of the peak in January 2019. Use the link below to read John’ trip report. The unofficial name was proposed by Rick Baugher who climbed the peak in 1991. USGS Eighteenmile Peak

A rather uncommon sight in the southern Beaverhead Range is this evidence of classic U-shaped glaciation found on the north side of Eidelman Peak. This shot was taken from Peak 10404 (Dianes Mountain) on the Idaho/Montana Continental Divide. Rick Baugher Photo and Commentary.
