Climbing and access information for this peak is on Page 112 of the book. Updated October 2021

Storm Dome is located directly southeast of Storm Peak. Its northeast face is one of Idaho’s most impressive granite walls. Although the peak 800-850 foot vertical face was described in the book rock climbers seemed oblivious to the wall’s potential until 2021 when Michal Matyjasik and Duncan Ralph made the first ascent via a route they named Tous Mes Amis IV 5.12- C2+ A1 PG13. Michal’s route information is set out below. USGS Victor Peak

Milwaukee’s Best IV 5.12 PG13,

After many days of cleaning and equipping some higher quality free variations, Zach Cook, Duncan Ralph, and I made the first free ascent of the NE face of Storm Dome via Milwaukee’s Best IV 5.12 PG13, a free and higher quality variation of Tous Mes Amis. The free route is 9 pitches long, 4 of which are 12 and 1 is 11+.
