Mike moved from Germany to Boise in 1995. During the 11 years he spent in Idaho, he established many difficult sport and trad climbs as well as longer routes such as the Jughandle climbs. Mike relates that, “Later my family and I got to spend 7 great years in Bend, Oregon before we moved back to Munich, Germany in 2011. Here I am working as an engineer in the outdoor industry. I still enjoy climbing but at a more ‘moderate’ level.”
