The Climb
From the trailhead parking area, find a gap and bushwhack across Pass Creek in willows and brush/veg. Once across the small creek, scramble east up a steep sagebrush shoulder to reach flatter terrain higher up. Go right-ish/south here and cross a cattle fence. Scramble southwest up a steep, but easy, slope of stable gravel and short grass/scrub to reach the crest of the north ridge.
Follow the ridge left/south briefly to reach rocky Point 7512. Drop 20 vertical feet to a minor saddle. Continue south up the open, rock-and-scrub (mostly grass/scrub) ridge crest. Head up over (or skirt the left/east side of) Point 7731 and descend to a saddle. From this saddle, scramble south up the ridge in easy, short grass/scrub to Point 8066. Continue southeast for a short distance farther to reach the official high point of Peak 8084.

Scramble up the scrub hump (left of center) to access the steep, short grass/scrub on the northeast side of the north ridge (in center). This was the first leg of my ascent route.
