East Face/North Ridge, Class 2
The Climb
From the saddle at the base of the east face, bushwhack up gapped sagebrush and bare areas to reach the ridge saddle between Point 6665 and Peak 6850 on the north ridge. Scramble south up the narrow, but easy, mix of scrub and scattered junipers to reach the cairned summit of Peak 6850.

Northwest Ridge, Class 2
The Descent
From the summit, descend north along the narrow ridge crest to the saddle just south of Point 6665. Head northwest up the easy scrub ridge to the top of Point 6665 with only 50 feet of uphill required. From Point 6665, follow the juniper-clad ridge crest west to reach a ridge juncture at about 6,250 feet. There is a rocky ridge outcrop here. Head right/northwest from this juncture and descend a mix of scrub, junipers, and ridge rock down to about 5,600 feet. Bear right-ish/north-northwest here and descend toward the valley floor. A final jog right-ish dumps you onto the valley floor at the mouth of a prominent gully. Cruise northwest across field grass and scrub to return to the gated road closure.
