Access

Same as for Peak 8387. From the road junction (at the 5.9MP on Leaton Gulch Road) on the high ridge crest, head left/northwest on a 2-track ridge road. Do not drive this ridge road in wet conditions as it will become a slippery, muddy mess. Drive 1.0 miles northwest on FSR-111 to its 2nd signed junction with FSR-185. Park at this junction (8,360 feet).

The Climb

From the road junction, hike briefly southwest up FSR-185 then follow an old, rocky jeep road northwest up the ridge crest to the antenna-clad summit. Scramble past some buildings and communication towers to reach the rocky high point (a small antenna). Nearby is an elaborate rock shelter.
