Twin Peaks, appropriately named because of its twin summits, is located 2.5 miles northeast of Chimney Rock. Twin Peaks lies within the Kaniksu National Forest. Use the link below to the Hike North Idaho website for a recent trip report. Please note that the book incorrectly refers to the Twin Peaks as Peak 7599 (South Summit) and Peak 7374 (North Summit). In actuality, Peak 7599 is the North Summit (and the True Summit) and Peak 7500 is the South Summit. Peak 7374 is a lower point on the ridge and is located north of the true summit. It is NOT one of the Twin Peaks. USGS The Wigwams
