Moores Flat Road

Moores Flat Road is accessed from ID-20 via the Featherville Highway. When dry, the road is passable to high-clearance vehicles. Otherwise, a 4WD is recommended.

From I-84 at Mountain Home (Exit 95), drive 31.9 miles on ID-20 to its junction with the Featherville Highway/FH-61. Turn left/north and follow the FH-61 for 4.1 miles to its junction with the High Prairie Road. Turn right and follow High Prairie Road for roughly 100 yards and turn left onto FS-181. This road is roughly maintained and runs north, quickly crossing onto posted private land. The road is open to the public but the land is private so stay on the road. FS-181 leads north and then east to a junction with Cow Creek Road/FS-058 in just over 7 miles.
