Peak 5303 sits in the Western Owyhee Mountains just east of US-95 and north of Flattop Butte. Like most peaks in this area, it can be climbed from almost any direction. I climbed it from the east and Chipmunk Road. This area burned in 2015 and all the brush is gone. There are great views from the summit. Chipmunk Road is a good gravel road that leaves US-95 at Milepost 7 and runs southeast to McBride Creek on the east side of the peak. USGS Piute Butte
