Same as for Deadhorse Ridge. This is the second leg of a three-peak journey that includes Deadhorse Ridge, Peak 7794, and Lightning Ridge.

Northwest Ridge, Class 2

The Climb

From the 7,500-foot connecting saddle with Deadhorse Ridge, hike west up FST-263 until it reaches the crest of the northwest ridge of Peak 7794. Leave the trail and scramble southeast up the open ridge crest through sagebrush and brush. Find a decent game/use trail on the right/southwest side of the ridge to expedite this bushwhack through thick sagebrush and other brush. The summit of Peak 7794 is a small, rocky ridge crest in open terrain.
