Brundage Mountain is located northeast of McCall, Idaho and east of Payette Lake. The Brundage Mountain Ski Resort is located on its southwest slopes. Ski lifts reach this big mountain’s south ridge crest. USGS Brundage Mountain
Access
Brundage Mountain. Follow ID-55 north from McCall for roughly 4.0 miles. Turn right onto [signed] FS-257 (Goose Lake/Brundage Road). Follow this paved road for 3.6 miles to the ski area entrance.
East Side Access. Access to the east side of the mountain is via a series of Forest Service Roads. The Old Brundage Mountain Road/FS-451 leaves ID-55 at a signed junction on the west side of McCall. Follow this road north to its junction with FS-488. Follow FS-488 north to its junction with FS-1090. FS-1090 leads to Brundage Mountain’s south ridge crest. FS-488 continues north passing by the peak’s east slopes.
