Castle Rock is located south of the main East-West White Knob Mountains Crest. It is the most impressive peak in the range. Probably due to its low elevation, it has not received any attention from climbers. I walked right by it on the day I climbed Porphyry Peak. With the wisdom of hindsight, I know that I should have climbed it. USGS Porphry Peak
