Eyrie Peak is located northeast of Peak 7022 and is at the head of Eyrie Canyon. This is the second leg of a 2-peak adventure that includes Peak 7022 and Eyrie Peak. The journey covers 4.0 miles with 1,275 feet of elevation gain round trip. USGS Sublett Troughs

Same as for Peak 7022. This is the second leg of a 2-peak journey that begins near Summit Springs Pass.

Southwest Face, Class 2

The Climb

From the 6,500-foot connecting saddle at the head of Eyrie Canyon, scramble northeast up an easy scrub slope to the summit of Eyrie Peak. The elongated, sagebrush summit has no summit cairn or signs of previous ascent. Return to the connecting saddle and then to Point 6720+. Descend the east spur of Peak 7022 back to your parked vehicle near Summit Springs Pass.
