Brian Westphal provided the following information identify this formation. This tower is referenced in two sources: 1) Davis, Dan, “Seven Pinnacles of Verita Ridge”, AAJ, Vol. 13, No. 2 (1963), 481, and 2) Beckey, Fred, Challenge of the North Cascade, The Mountaineers, Seattle, WA (1969), 274. In the first reference, the tower is called “Another Pinnacle” and the description is given as “just to the west of Damocles and below the crest” in addition to “from a notch on the northwest side the route swung around to the northeast and climbed a crack and then a slab to the summit”. No description is given in the second reference other than the name “Jericho Tower” as climbed in the same year (1962) and between “Damocles” and the “Leaning Tower of Pisa” which matches towers described in first reference.
