Little Buttes, South is the southern of the two “Little Buttes” which are mapped and located east of Menan, Idaho. Little Buttes, South is antenna-clad and is privately owned and heavily posted. It should be avoided unless you obtain permission from the landowner. Little Buttes, South is slightly higher than Little Buttes North (4,955 feet). USGS Rigby

Access

From US-20, take Exit 125 (Menan/Lorenzo) and drive west on the Menan Highway for 3.4 miles to a crest in the road, just above the cemetery and between the two buttes. Just past the crest is a private access road (left) that heads up Little Buttes, South. There is a private home just a short distance up this access road.
