This peak was identified as the Small Aiguille on Page 175 of the book. Based on Brian Westphal’s research, it was historically known (at least in some circles) as the Lower Aiguille. Two routes are included in the book. Kaden Platt provided the route information below. Published June 2026

Lower Aguille, Class 5.2 by Kaden Plant
This route starts out with crumbly Class 4 scrambling from the Grand Aiguille/Lower Aiguille saddle. Eventually the route reaches better rock. Evan and I soloed this peak, but if one were to climb on lead: I recommend at least a 60-meter rope, then a single from .5-#4 and nuts would get by. The first ‘pitch’ to a slung pillar looked very difficult to protect.
