Mica Peak is located in the southwest corner of the Coeur d’Alene Mountains west of Lake Coeur d’Alene. It is located on private property which is reportedly open to the public for foot and bicycle travel as of August 2021. Because of its status of one of Idaho’s 2,000-foot prominence peaks, it sees more ascents than one would expect. USGS Rockford Bay

Primary access is via I-90 at Exit 5. From the exit, drive south on Spokane Street which becomes Riverview Drive. At 2.7 miles, turn left onto Signal Point Road. Continue until you reach a gated closure of the road. Park down the road from the gate.
