The Climb

From the gated road closure, hike about 0.3 miles east up the old road then leave it at a gully. Climb a grassy opening to reach the ridge crest. Weave your way up through the pine forest, using grassy open lanes as available. Follow the left/north side of a row of pines in open, easy grass/scrub to reach the small, semi-open summit. The high point is a nearby pine tree on the edge of the forest. The summit is at 47⁰30’42”N, 116⁰43’34”W.
