Elevation: 7,757 ft
This peak is not in the book.
Peak 7757 is located due north of South Mountain in the southern Owyhee Mountains. It is an attractive summit with a nice view. The summit of the peak is on BLM land and State land surrounds it on three sides.
Use the access directions on the South Mountain page to reach a point north of peak. Park at the junction which is 0.75 miles north of South Mountain’s summit.
From the junction a 4WD road traverses the ridge line north and eventually leads to a spot just below the summit. This track is drivable to the first saddle where there is parking. I recommend walking the rest of the way both to preserve the landscape and because the route is very poor after the first saddle. The summit is slightly less than a mile from the South Mountain Road and even with some up and down along the way your elevation gain will be less than 400 feet. Class 2
