This unnamed and remote summit is located east of Banner Summit. Swamp Creek flows along the peak’s West and North Slopes and Trap Creek is to the south. USGS Banner Summit
Access
The closest access is either from ID-21 near Banner Summit and the signed Bench Creek Trailhead/FST-024 or via the Swamp Creek Trail/FST-026 which is accessed from ID-21 and FS-195. The first option will involve crossing a pass, dropping down into Trap Creek, and then following FST-026 north. The second option takes you due south to the pass on the West Side of the peak.
Route
There are no reported ascents of this peak. The suggested (not verified) route follows the Forest Service Trails listed above to the pass on the peak’s West Side. From the pass, climb east to the summit ridge and then follow the summit ridge north to the top.
