Rainbow Peak, named after the nearby Rainbow Lakes, sits on the main Lick Creek crest east of Payette Lake. John Platt climbed the peak in conjunction with Bearpaw Peak in a long day involving nearly 20 miles and 4,000 feet of elevation gain.
