Peak 8854 is located northwest of Peak 8894 on a ridge system that divides Little Pistol Creek and Forty-Four Creek. This ridge system contains five ranked summits with Chinook Mountain as the highest point. Between this peak and Chinook Mountain  you will find Peak 8722. Chinook Ridge, Class 2

FST-216 passes just south of this peak’s summit as it crosses the mountain’s southern slopes. Scrambled to the top from the trail.
