Seldom Seen Spire is located on the NE ridge of Decker Peak. The first ascent is not known. In September 2021 Matt Word and Ky Hart climbed a new route on this spire up its north-facing wall. This wall rises above the cirque that drains the north face of Decker Peak. According to Matt the “We found a cairn on top but have not found any information on the tower; we presume it was climbed from the ridge. The spire is not visible from anywhere but within the cirque, so we named our route Seldom Seen Spire (650’, 6 pitches, IV 5.9 A2).” You can read his trip report which provided a lot of detail by clicking on the link below.
