Whiskey Mountain has a long north/south trending summit ridge. The peak’s closest neighbor is Rooster Comb Peak, which is located rough 1.8 miles SSW of Whiskey Mountain. These two mountains and Jack Benchmark sit in an area of mixed BLM, State of Idaho and private lands. USGS Rooster Comb Peak

Western Slopes, Closed
There are two obstacles to this climbing this remote summit: thick brush and the high point is located on private land. I believe the private land is managed by the Chipmunk Grazing Association.
