First Kaden Platt recently completed climbing all of the 115 ranked peaks in Owyhee county. Not only did this endeavor require a lot of backcountry driving, off trail navigation but it also required tracking down private landowners and getting permission for climbing peaks located on private property. Keep in mind that Kaden not only climbed all of the Owyhee Mountain peaks but every ranked peak in Owyhee County. This included reaching rugged, faraway spots in the Owyhee River canyons. Derek Percoski is close to completing the list having ascended 205 Pioneer ranked summits and Rick Baugher has completed 205 ranked Pioneer summits. The Pioneers are undoubtedly Idaho’s premier mountain range with a wide assortment of difficult peaks spread over a huge slice of challenging Idaho terrain. In addition to this accomplishment Haylee was the second person to climb every ranked peak in Blaine County. She has also completed many impressive ridge traverses.
