Northwest Ridge, Class 3/Class 4 Summit Block

This route involves a strenuous climb just to get to the Galena Peak/Peak 10500 (Senate Peak) saddle before you will even see the peak. Drop down into the West Fork East Fork Salmon River to roughly the 9,600-foot contour. Cross over to the base of the Northwest Ridge. Climb the ridge to the summit block.
