Turn left/north onto [signed] Fish Creek Road and reset your odometer. The Climb

From parking pullout, cross the cattle fence and bushwhack east-northeast across a grassy field then sagebrush to reach an obvious shoulder that climbs to the west ridge at a rocky outcrop. The terrain becomes steep with loose scree up near the entry onto the west ridge. Once on the west ridge, scramble up relatively easy scrub and scree to reach the base of the rocky summit cap.  Skirt the left side of the ridge buttress and climb steeply up loose scree and scrub to reach the cairned summit. The summit offers a magnificent view of nearby Fish Creek Reservoir.
