Peak 7549 is located within the Payette National Forest. There is a road that crosses the peak’s summit area within 100 feet of the highest point. However, road access is difficult and a 4WD is needed. USGS Crooked River Point
Use the directions found on the Cuddy Mountain page to get you to the Buck Park junction. From this junction, the road leads south for roughly 4 miles until it crosses the summit area. The road hits a low point at Buck Lake and then climbs to the summit area. The road from the junction offers a good route for hiking or riding a mountain bike. The peak has great views, especially of the rolling Cuddy Mountains terrain that surrounds it.
