This peak is not in the book.
This unnamed Cuddy Mountain is located within the Payette National Forest. There is a road that crosses the peak’s summit within 100 feet of the highest point. However, road access is difficult and a 4WD is needed.
Use the directions found on the Cuddy Mountain page to get you to the Buck Park junction. From this junction, the road leads south for roughly 4 miles until it crosses the summit. The road hits a low point at Buck Lake and then climbs to the summit.
The road from the junction offers a good route for hiking or riding a mountain bike. The peak has great views, especially of the rolling Cuddy Mountains terrain that surrounds it.
