Access
Same as for Salt Creek Peak. This is the second leg of a 2-peak adventure that includes Salt Creek Peak (8,180 feet) and Peak 8113.
South Ridge, Class 2
The Climb
From the 7,820-foot connecting saddle with Salt Creek Peak, follow the easy ridge crest north to the cairned summit of Peak 8113. There are a few hunter’s cairns along this route, including a hunter’s cairn atop the summit. I doubt that this peak has previously seen any mountain climbers. This route is in mostly-open terrain with scattered areas of scrub and scattered pines (see photo).
