Elevation: 8,124 ft
This peak is not in the book.
I recommend climbing this peak from Hard Peak by following the connecting ridgeline north. The ridge line is mostly open with good footing. The walk between the two peaks is less than a mile and you will gain and lose slightly more than 300 feet in the process. You can also traverse across the north face of Hard Peak by leaving the leaving trail that crosses that ridge at roughly 7,200 feet and picking your way through meadow, forest and down fall. I actually returned via this route and found the debris and footing along the way only slightly annoying. See the Hard BM page for access information. Use the link below for John Platt’s trip report.
