Peak 8361 is an impressive incisor shaped summit located 1.0 miles southeast of Snowslide Peak. The ridge between the two peaks can be traversed. Drop south off of Snowslide and work your way over two Peak 8361. Cross 8361’s western side until you can reach the peak’s south ridge. Climb the south ridge to the summit.
John reports: You can most easily climb this from Golden Lake. The north ridge is Class 4. The south is 2+ or at most Class 3- depending on your choice of routes..So if you are coming from Sawtooth, you need to go either high or low on the west side (cliffs in between) to gain the saddle on the south. Then it’s fairly easy. “Even a dog could do it” because she did.
