Elevation: 9,290 ft
This peak is not in the book.
Peak 9290 sits on a north south divide that starts in the north on Copper Mountain in the north and runs south to Peak 8916. There are five peaks with 300 or more feet of prominence on the divide. Idaho-21 is on the west side of the divide and all of the peaks can be accessed from the area of Banner Summit. The highway, when open, provides good winter access and I believe all of the peaks have been climbed in the winter, John Platt’s trip report for his mid-May Ascent is linked below. It will give you a good idea of typical Spring conditions. USGS Granjean.
