Greeley Mountain is located south of Elk Summit on the ridgeline that runs between that pass and Profile Gap. The route found in the book covers a ridge walk from Elk Summit past Mount Eldridge and Dixie Mountain. This route is roughly 10 miles round-trip with over 3,000 feet of elevation gain. I have only been as far as Dixie Mountain. USGS Profile Gap
