Unofficially called Long Ridge Peak by Rick Baugher, Peak 10840 sits due east of The Box and just north of Upper Box Lake in the Pioneer Mountain Range of the Challis National Forest. The summit sits on the border of Blaine and Custer counties. The peak can be climbed via steep slopes from the lake.
