Turntable Mountain is most easily climbed from either its East or West Ridges from saddles off a gravel road that originates out of Slaughterhouse Gulch, northeast of Silver City, Idaho. A high-clearance 4WD vehicle is recommended. Because this area of the Owhyees is an extremely popular ATV and dirt bike use area, I recommend hiking this peak during the week to avoid ATVs and other motorized traffic. USGS Cinnabar Mountain
