EE DA HOW Mountaineers

The EE DA HOW Mountaineers was a climbing group from eastern Idaho formed by Lyman Dye, Art Barnes and Wayne Boyer. They were responsible for first ascents and much exploring in the Lost River Range in the late 1950s and into the 1970s. Lyman and Wayne were still climbing in their 80s when they scaled Mount Borah. Their exploits are documented in the book where you will their first ascents listed. Also, see Bob Boyles’ article covering the groups first ascent of the East Face of Borah.
