Paul grew up in New Hampshire but never explored any of the iconic mountains there. He moved to Idaho in 1998 but didn’t start hiking until 2012. It didn’t take long to get hooked by the peakbagging bug and begin checking off the many peaks in the Owyhees. He has climbed just over 200 peaks with 75 of the 115 ranked summits in Owyhee County completed so far. He is out in the mountains nearly every weekend and gets really grouchy if he misses a few weeks.
