I was introduced to skiing at 5 years old, and hiking at 9. Since then, I have spent my life outdoors exploring most of N. Idaho, W. Montana, Washington, and SW Canada. I joined the Spokane Mountaineers in 1984 and completed our Mountain School in 1985.  I’ve been President two 2 year terms, was Secretary for 7 years, received Honorary Membership in 2004, and became the Historian in 2010. In 2018 I met fellow SMI member David Crafton at a trail work party, and soon we were building https://www.inlandnwroutes.com/ I have hiked, skied and climbed all over our region, and wanted to share my knowledge of all the incredible places to play in the Inland Northwest.
